This photograph, on paper with a surface sheen, is in generally very good to excellent condition. In raking light, the following are visible on the print: 2 insignificant surface scratches that may break the emulsion ever-so-slightly in the lower right quadrant; a tiny deposit of original retouching in the upper right quadrant; and 2 tiny adhesions in the center and lower right quadrant. At the image periphery, there is a thin border of silvering that is only visible in high raking light. This print is mounted to thin, lightly textured, beige-colored card. The periphery of the mount is age-appropriately darkened, and there is a fingerprint in the lower right corner of the mount. On the reverse of the mount is a thin strip of yellowed adhesive along the upper edge. In addition to the print of this image in the Center for Creative Photography, Tucson, Conger locates prints in the following institutional collections: Art Institute of Chicago; International Center of Photography at George Eastman House, Rochester; Huntington Library, San Marino; and Special Collections, University of California, Santa Cruz, this last a Project Print.
