Rare first edition of an early cookery book in Russian. It includes translated excerpts from Menon's La cuisinière bourgeoise and La science du maitre d'hotel, confiseur. The title-page states that it is one of two volumes, but the text was subsequently extended to seven volumes. We have only been able to trace four copies in Russian libraries.
