4to (322 x 240mm.), copy number 53 of an edition of 131 copies, one of 88 copies on papier de chine, signed by de Chirico in pencil on limitation statement, printed in red and black, half-title, lithographed illustrations by de Chirico, crushed black morocco by Paul Bonet dated 1943, covers lettered with interlocking black and coloured morocco onlays (the upper cover with the title in colours and the author's name in black, the lower cover with the colours reversed), flat spine lettered in gilt, purple suede endleaves with small circle and star stamps in white, green and gold, endleaves edged with black morocco lettered in gilt with the name of the author, the artist and the binder, gilt speckled flyleaves, black morocco-backed chemise, in matching slipcase, top edge gilt, others uncut, paper repair to pp.199-200 without loss
