4to (377 x 270mm.), copy number 261 of an edition of 370 copies, one of 280 copies on vergé d'Arches, etching on original upper wrapper and title-page, 14 plates, etched initials, headpieces and vignettes, all by Bonnard, binding by Germaine de Coster of navy crushed morocco, upper cover with green and orange morocco onlays in the shape of two dogs with multiple gilt fillets radiating out and smooth black morocco inset sections, lower cover with similar gilt fillet and inset pattern, spine lettered in gilt with gilt fillet decoration, top edge gilt, others uncut, green suede endleaves, in navy crushed morocco-backed chemise also with spine lettered in gilt, in board slipcase, chemise cracking at hinges
