Condition
In very good condition. The rubellite is a lively, well-saturated medium-deep purplish pink, slightly more purplish than it appears in the printed catalogue, and eye-clean. Minute abrasions and minor inclusions seen under magnification. The diamonds are approximately E-G color, VVS-VS clarity; one diamond with a small black spot visible with a loupe, possibly a piece of dirt trapped beneath the mounting. The shank exterior bearing a workshop mark. Unsigned, but a photocopy of the Cartier valuation report is available upon request.
