Condition
In good condition. The sapphire is a bright, medium slightly orangy yellow, lightly included, it is more saturated than it appears in the printed catalogue. The 287 diamonds are approximately F-I color, VVS-VS clarity. The lapis segments show no visible loss on the front, and the light mottling and flecks of pyrite add to the artistic feel of the necklace. Gross weight approximately 98 dwts. The heart motif mounted in platinum, the chain in white gold. Very well made, with an almost sculptural feel. Also with French import marks. Fitted with a safety closure. Please note that the sapphire weighs approximately 37.00 carats, not 5.50 carats as stated in the printed catalogue.
