The modified rectangular plaque of geometric design set in the center with a carved green hardstone segment, flanked by dark blue matte enamel sections accented by silver bands, signed J. Després, maker's mark, French assay mark.

Light scratching and manufacturing irregularities to the mounting. Tarnished, as to be expected (only a light cleaning is recommended in order to maintain some degree of patina). The stippled panels next to the hardstone appear to be a thin layer of gold. The hardstone is a mottled blue-green and white; possibly aventurine quartz. The matte blue enamel remains in good condition. Signed on the reverse.
