描述

  • platinum, diamond, cultured pearl, necklace
The graduated five-strand necklace composed of cultured pearls measuring approximately 7.8 to 7.5 mm., completed by a lozenge-shaped openwork clasp set with old mine and old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.75 carats, length 18 inches, the clasp was converted from a brooch, circa 1920.

Condition

The five-strands strung with creamy-white cultured pearls, with moderate rose overtones and a satiny luster, the skins exhibiting wrinkling, pitting and blemishing, though not visible when worn. The clasp set with 60 diamonds, all approximately H to J color, SI to I clarity (typical of stones from the Art Deco period). The string shows some slight fraying at the knots, but seems stable. In good condition overall.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
