Platinum, Cultured Pearl, Natural Pearl and Diamond Necklace, Circa 1950

Designed as a triple-strand graduated swag composed of 48 natural pearls measuring approximately 8.2 to 4.1 mm., and 187 cultured pearls measuring approximately 7.7 to 4.1 mm., the platinum spacers and clasp set with round, single-cut and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 1.25 carats, length 15¼ inches.

Accompanied by GIA report no. 2145273506 stating 48 natural pearls, saltwater, 187 bead cultured. Chart of natural pearls available upon request; 30 natural pearls measuring approximately 4.9 to 4.1 mm.; 14 natural pearls measuring approximately 5.7 to 5.0 mm.; 2 natural pearls measuring approximately 6.3 to 6.1 mm.; 1 natural pearl measuring approximately 7.3 mm., and 1 natural pearl measuring approximately 8.2 mm; all of the pearls with a creamy white hue with light to moderate rose and green overtones; with good luster and smooth skins, some blemishing and pitting visible under close inspection. The diamonds in the clasp and the two spacers are approximately G to J color, SI to I clarity overall. The clasp fitted with a safety catch and of similar design to the diamond-set spacers; operated by pressing the baguette in the center. In good condition.
