Collection of ruby and diamond jewels, mounted by Mauboussin

Comprising: a brooch set with cushion-shaped and calibré-cut rubies, circular-, single-cut and baguette diamonds, detachable diamond pendant; a pair of ear clips similarly set with pear-shaped rubies, clip fittings, all signed Mre Mauboussin; a ring set with a cushion-shaped ruby between pear-shaped diamond shoulders, size 54, maker's mark; and a bracelet set with an oval ruby, circular- and single-cut diamonds, length approximately 170mm, one diamond deficient.

Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Ruby brooch: Stamped with French assay marks for platinum and gold. Signed Mre Mauboussin, numbered 01094. Rubies with eye visible typical crystal inclusions, some visible only under magnification, few scratches, nicks, cavities and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 14.00 - 15.00 carats in total, G-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Detachable pendant may be of later date. Ear clips: Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and Pt 950 for platinum. Signed Mre Mauboussin. Rubies with typical crystal inclusions, a few are eye visible but not noticeable when worn, some scratches, nicks and cavities. Well matched in colour. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 6.00 carats in total, G-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mount. Ring: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Ruby measuring approximately 15.3 x 11.8 x 4.8mm, estimated to weigh approximately 7.50 carats. Gauged in mount. Typical crystal inclusions visible to the naked eye, some only under magnification, some are surface reaching, few scratches, nicks and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 0.50 carat each, G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Bracelet: Ruby with few crystal inclusions, a few are eye visible but not distracting when worn, some scratches, nicks and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 9.50 carats in total, H-J colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure. One diamond deficient. Few links slightly bent. Normal signs of wear to the metal, scratches and indentations consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
