Colour and Clarity: According to GRS reports, the rubies on both necklace and earclips are natural, of Burmese origin, with no indication of thermal treatment. Two oval rubies on earclips are of vivid red, GRS type “pigeon’s blood” colour. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, the rubies are of strong red colour. Rubies on necklace are eye clean to slightly included to naked eyes, and two oval rubies on earclips are moderately included to naked eyes. Upon 10x loupe, there are natural inclusions and a few surface-reaching nicks and openings, in particular to the two rubies on earclips. Generally, rubies on necklace have slightly better clarity and brilliance. Diamonds are about F to H colours, mostly VS clarity. Condition: Necklace is quite soft and sits well on neck; overall, both in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment. Please check with the specialist department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to these import restrictions, or any other restrictions on importation or exportation.
