The graduated five-strand necklace composed of turquoise, bone, simulated pearl, plastic, agate, simulated onyx, and simulated sunstone beads, supporting a pendant of a cricket on an oval walrus ivory platform, and a smaller pendant depicting an eye set with carved simulated bone, mounted in 24 karat gold-plated silver, length 18½ inches, signed Tony Duquette, with signed box; the large cuff composed of gilt metal, set at the front with a carved polished amethyst dolphin, surmounted by a sliced amethyst geode and a cabochon heart-shaped amethyst, accented by pear-shaped and oval zircons, internal circumference 8 inches, signed Tony Duquette.
Condition
Both pieces in good condition. NECKLACE: Minimal chipping and nicking to the beads due to wear; the turquoise showing visible matrix and the bone showing visible cracking. Some discolaration to the gold spacers. Visible cracking to the oval walrus ivory pendant at the edges and some obvious glue residue where the cricket is attached. In good condition overall. CUFF: In good overall condition. The gilt-metal showing tarnish and discoloration due to wear (may be polished out if desired). The amethyst of decorative quality. Opens by withdrawing the pin at the back.
