Elizabethan pattern, comprising: Teapot, Coffee Pot, Sugar Bowl and small Claret Jug, James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, 1897-98, 1901; large Claret Jug, Stephen Smith, London, 1874; another Coffee Pot, Kettle on Lampstand, Creamer, another Sugar Bowl, Milk Pot and two-handled oval Tray, Mappin & Webb, London, 1902-03, 1905, all of vase from, chased with masks, caryatids, stags and goats surrounded by strapwork, berried foliage and floral sprays, similar tray with openwork border with lions flanking urns spaced by bacchic masks, surface engraved with pspread winged eagles spaced by scrolling foliage and intiials CF, snake handles
Condition
overall wear to high spots of decoration throughout; teapot with shallow dent to side, lampstand missing spirit lamp and pin to secure kettle, ewer missing hinge pin to cover, hot milk pot with upper ivory insulator broken and lacking pin at lower terminal
