of cylindrical form, skilfully carved around the body with two frogs, one leaping and the other resting by the shore with water plants bearing trefoil leaves and budding flowers, the reverse with a dragonfly in flight, encircled with a keyfret band on top of the rim, glazed overall in shaded tones of lime-green, the base impressed with a four-character mark reading Wang Bingrong zhi (made by Wang Bingrong)

This brushpot is in good condition. However, there is a minor firing crack running through one of the leaves of the plants. There is also some pin hole-sized iron spots to the exterior and the base.
