the pear-shaped body rising from a short foot to a garlic-form mouth, the exterior moulded with celadon-glazed prunus branches heightened with iron-red, interspersed with gilt butterflies and foliate sprays, all below a band of gilt upright plantain leaves, reserved on a rich blue glaze
Condition
The bottle vase is in good condition with the exception of some minor glaze firing imperfections including burst glaze bubbles, a short firing line across the foot and rubbing to the gilded decoration.
