the rectangular top inset within a mitred frame above a narrow waist, with S-shaped ‘giant’s arm’ braces extending from the inside of each leg to the underside of the table, all supported on four hoofed feet

Condition
As illustrated in the catalogue: the table is in good condition with the exception of both rear legs being loose, repair to a 2.5 x 3 x 5cm., section of one foot, light fading to the patination of the top, two deep (18 and 52cm., long) scratches to one end of the top surface, a 4 x 3cm., depression to the edge of the top, loss ( 1 x 1 x 5cm.) to the inside edge of one foot, minor nibbles and scratches.
