the cylindrical body tapering slightly towards the recessed base and surmounted by a tall columnar neck set with a wide everted mouthrim, covered overall in an even greyish-green glaze suffused with a subtle crackle, the footring left unglazed revealing the dark brown dressing

Condition
This rare vase is in good condition with the exception of a 6mm., diam., glaze pull to the neck, three small shallow flakes to the footring (10, 4 and 3mm., wide), a gold lacquer repair to a 5cm., wide crescent-shaped section of the rim, kiln grit adhered around the base of the foot, light graze crackling and a tiny iron-spot impurity to the side of the body.
