of oval lobed form supported on four ridge feet picked out in gilt, the interior inscribed in iron-red with an imperial poem dated to dingsi year of Jiaqing's reign (corresponding to 1797), all within a gilt border and enclosed by a meander of lotus sprays and florets in bright enamels, the decoration repeated in the well and the exterior, all reserved on a lime-green ground continuing over the base save for a six-character Jiaqing seal mark in iron-red

Some scratching to the lime-green enamel to the base and rubbing to gilding at rim. Otherwise in very good condition.
