carved around the sides with four chilong clambering over a band of kuilong reserved on a leiwen ground, another chilong in the interior biting the key-fret incised rim, just above the joined double-scrolling handle, the horn of rich deep amber tone

Condition
There are a number of small chips around the rim, the largest being 1/4 in. (0.7 cm.) long. There also appear to be two small old repairs close to the handle. There is a shallow 3/4 in. (1.8 cm.) long gouge beneath the handle, and a 1/4 in. (0.7 cm.) long hole on the top part of the handle. There is also the expected age related wear and cracks.
