曾梵志在近作之中反覆地演練變化多端且收放自如的筆觸。畫面上明暗、輕重、剛柔並濟的攝人之效並非純粹臨摹著畫法，而是於創作上承繼中國傳統繪畫的筆法。藝術家一反西方抽象藝術的傳統，特別地讓畫筆主導著一切，自由地駛出一道道與別不同的軌跡。「筆隨心走」偶然的出現，改變了藝家的創作，並催生了一系列巍峨雄渾的當代山水作品。
