拍品資料及來源

"In my earlier paintings, the colors became the first victims when too many actions were layered on top of each other. Sometimes, if colors had miserably slumped, I tenderly comforted them with a spray can. Then I painted some pink candy over the muddy stew on a Saturday. Later I not only started to feel a need for bright colors - the whole painting process was no longer a matter of kneading thoughts, rather I interpreted and manipulated pre-existing elements. As far as possible, I tried to leave them alone, and that's when they start to grow."
