the rounded sides rising from a straight foot to a flared rim, the exterior incised with two scaly dragons chasing flaming pearls amidst cloud scrolls and flame wisps above turbulent foaming waters, skirted around the foot with a keyfret band, applied with an aubergine glaze leaving the interior and base white, inscribed with a six-character Daoguang seal mark, wood stand

Condition
In excellent condition, with the exception of a 1.5mm burst air bubble above the turbulent waves. The glaze to the base slightly mis-coloured. The glaze of a much deeper, purple tone than as shown in catalogue image.
