Condition

From left to right as per catalogue image: Pair of 'deer' dishes: Please note that the two dishes are not quite a pair and differ slightly in their size and composition. One with a 9mm glaze inclusion to the rim; a glaze pull to well; speckled glaze inclusions to main design; small glaze flakes to underside of rim. The other in good general condition with firing imperfections and with a label reading 'Min Chiu Ex. Cat. No. 36' to base. 'Sage' saucer: a 3mm rim chip; short and faint firing crack to rim and glaze flake to rim. 'Geese' dish: numerous glaze flakes to rim and firing cracks to base. 'Egret' saucer: hairline star crack to base; minor glaze inclusions. 'Monkey and deer' dish: slightly warped; firing crack to base and glaze pulls above foot; other minor firing imperfections. Please note that for all items the under-glaze blue is a softer colour than as seen in catalogue image.
