comprising four panels, each joined together by two hinges, including a central hinge used for locking, painted with a bluish-grey background and trompe-oeil architectural elements containing light pink floral stems against a light blue ground, each panel with an eight-pointed star to the top and bottom and a large mirror in the centre divided into four sections with carved relief spandrels, the back a plain greenish-grey colour
Condition
Intact, in fairly good condition, some cracking to wood and paint, including minor chips across edges, a slightly loose relief spandrel on furthest left-sided panel's top mirror, central hinge missing locking element, larger crack to bottom of second from the right panel, as viewed.
