Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is lighter in the original.
The work is executed on a cream wove paper.
The sheet is taped to the overmount along the edges.
Are only visible under very close inspection, 10 artist's pinholes :
- 1 located at the extremity of the upper left corner
- 2 located in the middle of the upper edge
- 3 located at the extremity of the upper right corner
- 1 located at the extremity of the lower left corner
- 3 located at the extremity of the lower right corner
Is only visible under very close inspection, a tiny tear (less than 0,4 cm) located along the upper edge, 4 cm from the extremity of the upper left corner.
Are only visible on the back of the sheet, some superficial remnants of glue along the edges, due to previous mounting.
This work is in very good condition.
