surmounted by a Brèche de Medoux marble top and fitted with two long drawers, the back with the black stencil MERCIER FRERES/PARIS.
Condition
Overall in fair condition. With the usual minor edge chips and scratches to marble top consistent with age and use. The bronze mounts with the original gilding but with extensive areas of tarnish. Some show extensive wear with no gilding left, and green oxidation points to the paw feet. The upper drawer with traces of restoration to the veneer to proper right bottom corner. The veneers on all sides slightly darkened by a varnish. One bolt lacking to one of the loop handles.
