Condition
"This workis in good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling at the edges and margins with two associated thin horizontal repairs on the bottom margin, 4 cm and 2 cm, respectively located approximately 16 cm from the right edge and 1 cm from the bottom, which is apparent after examination under ultraviolet light. UV light also reveals 2 other areas of repair: one thin horizontal line about 14 cm in length and 3 other spots below that on the lower right quadrant (purple background area), located about 28 cm from the right edge and 29 cm from the bottom, as well as a 0.5cm repair on the upper right quadrant (brow background), located 28.5 cm from the top edge and 36 cm from the right edge. A few spots of retouching scattered throughout the background, primarily on the upper right quadrant, are visible under ultraviolet light. Restoration is not readily apparent to the naked eye and are ostensible only after UV light inspection. There is a very minor undulation to the canvas in the top right area and a minor dent located on the middle left margins, on the brown background. The paint layers are well-preserved and in good condition.
