This work is in good condition overall. There is a small chip on the upper left edge but the painting is otherwise well-preserved. Under ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. A label from Galerie Romanet, Paris is affixed to the reverse of the piece, indicating the painting's provenance.
