拍品資料及來源

"I live in a third-world country, Indonesia. As an artist, I always ask, 'Who am I?' within myself and in the larger context of the religious, social and even artistic constellation. This question and discussion therein has become the base of my work. It's this very question that I believe will always be a discussion matter, now and forever: 'Who am I?'   Art subjects are not always to be sought out. I believe that every matter, and not only in art, begins from inside ourselves. That is why I draw an image of myself in most of my work, the face representing the most important part of my body in a process of self-identification."
