JADEITE, DIAMOND, ENAMEL AND ONYX PENDANT, CIRCA 1925, Boucheron

Of Art Deco design, the translucent jadeite plaque of emerald green colour suffused with white patches; decorated with a Chinese calligraphy shou (壽) set with brilliant-cut diamonds, symbolising longevity, surmounted by brilliant-cut diamonds, black enamel and onyx-set links, mounted in platinum, signed.

Colour and Clarity: According to the jadeite certificate, the jadeite plaque is natural, type "A" jadeite. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the jadeite is translucent, of medium green colour, suffused with white patches. There are general surface abrasions and two chips on the girdle. Upon 10x loupe, there is a fissure line rounding across the pendant, not noticeable to naked eyes. Small diamonds are of near colourless to slightly tinted hue, with minor surface abrasions upon 10x loupe. has very fine translucency, of apple green celadon tone, with a small patch of yellow. Bangle of fine texture with some natural inclusions under illumination. Condition: Vintage jadeite pendant, moderate signs of abrasions and wear to the mount, otherwise in good condition.
