Centring on an oval cabochon sapphire weighing 65.02 carats, to a stylised mount set with pear-shaped rose-cut and brilliant-cut diamonds, extending to the shoulders, the diamonds together weighing approximately 3.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to GRS report, the cabochon star sapphire is natural, of Ceylon origin, with no indication of thermal treatment. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the star sapphire is of medium, slightly greyish blue colour, with a distinct and centred asterism (star effect) upon spotlight illumination. Upon 10x loupe and transmitted light, there are silks, fingerprints and a few crystal inclusions, generally not noticeable to naked eyes. The star sapphire has a very pleasing face-up and profile outlines. Diamonds are about G to H colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Karat white gold ring mount, in very good condition.
