ICY JADEITE 'PEAPOD' AND DIAMOND PENDANT

The highly translucent icy jadeite, carved as a peapod, to a stylised surmount strung on a black cord decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat pink gold, length approximately 670mm, pendant detachable.

Colour and Clarity: According to the jadeite certificate, the icy jadeite "peapod" is natural, type "A" jadeite. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the icy jadeite is highly translucent to almost semi-transparent, icy tone with soft glow upon illumination. There are white spot inclusions upon transmitted light, not noticeable when worn. Diamonds together weighing approximately 0.45 carat, are about I to J colours, VS clarity. Condition: Necklace with ajustable length, pendant can be detached and worn separately. Karat pink gold mount, overall in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US.
