of rounded rectangular form, the white translucent stone with brown russet spots and natural veining, deftly carved in low relief and openwork with a pair of hornless spotted deer standing on rockwork, flanking a central leafy stem, below a blossoming flower and a flying bird, all reserved on a background similarly reticulated with branches

Condition

A 0.3 x 1 cm area on the back has been slightly polished down. Apart from some minor nibbles and natural inclusions, the overall condition of the plaque is very good.
