the translucent white stone well carved in the form of a recumbent horse with its legs tucked neatly under its body, the head with finely incised mane turned towards its back and its mouth grasping its own tail

Condition

Apart from a small nibble of about 0.1 cm to the top mane, the overall condition of the jade is very good. The actual colour is more white than the catalogue illustration.
