描述

  • Bronze
cast seated with the right hand resting on the right knee holding a rosary, wearing a long flowing floral edged robe open at the chest to reveal an elaborate beaded necklace, the full face with meditative expression framed by a high reticulated crown inset with Amitabha Buddha, the metal patinated to a rich dark chocolate brown tone, carved wood double lotus and wave pedestal base

Condition

Apart from some dents to the bottom and typical wear especially to the face and back, the overall condition is very good. The base plate is missing. There are two holes to the back of the deity, possibly for attachment to a stand. The actual colour is slightly darker than the catalogue illustration.
