each with rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim supported by a short straight foot, the exterior painted with ducks swimming in between clusters of lotus flowers and millet sprays above an upright lappet border surrounding the footrim, the interior centred with a medallion containing similarly painted ducks swimming amidst further lotus flower sprays, the base inscribed with an underglaze-blue six-character reign mark
Condition
There is a 0.5 cm hairline crack (0.7 cm on the exterior) to the mouthrim on one of the bowls. There are a few minute, very minor chips to the foot.
