the flattened circular body rising from a short spreading foot to a tall trumpet neck flanked by a pair of ruyi handles, moulded in low relief to either side with a peach-shaped panel painted in rich cobalt-blue tones with bats flying amongst fruiting peach sprays, reserved on a leafy floral scroll ground similarly decorated to the sides and neck, the foot with a 'classic' band

Condition
The mouth has been rebuilt (h. approx. 2.5 cm). The handles have firing cracks beneath the glaze at the luting lines. The rest of the vase is in overall good condition except for some surface scratches and minute kiln grits.
