the compressed globular body rising from a short tapering foot to a narrow everted mouth rim, finely inlaid in silver wire around the exterior with three archaic bronze vessels divided by jinwen script, all below a key-fret band at the shoulder, the base with a four-character seal reading gupu mogu ('Archaistic and of archaic simplicity'), the wood patinated to rich dark-chocolate tone
Condition
The overall condition is very good with the inlaid silver wires well preserved.
