This book is warmly inscribed by Louis Comfort Tiffany to artist William Meyle, who was employed as a decorator at Tiffany Studios from the 1880s until the time of his death in 1918. Meyle represented Tiffany Studios at the Chicago Columbian Exposition in 1893, and played an important role in the interior decoration of the H. O. Havemeyer Mansion.
