the carved decoration incorporating punchwork motifs, the frieze with conjoined heart motifs and triglyphs above a door between canted sides and turned supports, the lower section with a lunette carved long drawer and  turned supports

Victor Chinnery, Oak Furniture, The British Tradition, Woodbridge, 1979, p. 365, fig. 3:383 illustrates a small oak box. It bears remarkably similar carved and applied motifs. Whilst difficult to prove, these shared characteristics could point to work by the same hand.
