盧浮宮是全球歷史最悠久的文化與藝術博物館。盧浮宮位於巴黎市中心，曾經是法國皇室的宮殿，收藏了從年代久遠的文物到十九世紀中葉的作品等三萬五千多件藝術品。鎮館之寶有在藝術史上舉足輕重的《蒙娜．麗莎》（Mona Lisa）、《薩莫特拉斯的勝利女神像》（Winged Victory of Samothrace）、《米洛的維納斯》（Venus de Milo）等珍稀藝術傑作，以及其他眾多大師級作品。貝聿銘的代表性作品玻璃金字塔於1988年落成，為這座世界一流博物館的展示、學術及策展功能更添濃墨重彩之一筆。
