Museo Jumex

Colonia Granada, Mexico City | Mexico

About the Museum

This museum, in the main exhibition space of the Fundación Jumex Arte Contemporáneo, opened in November 2013 in a stunning building designed by British architect David Chipperfield. The structure, which features local materials that pay homage to the environment of Mexico City, is Mr Chipperfield’s first project in Latin America. The permanent contemporary art collection – one of Mexico’s most important – as well as changing exhibitions populate five stories of a remarkable facility that totals an impressive 6,700 square metres.
