About the Museum
With innovative educational and community outreach programmes and free entry for all, the Baltimore Museum of Art aims to engage diverse audiences. Its galleries house over 95,000 works of art, including more than 1,000 works by Henri Matisse, a large selection of prints, drawings and photographs and an exceptional collection of art from Africa. The museum is also home to a large sculpture garden with a range of works, from Auguste Rodin’s Balzac to Alexander Calder’s 100 Yard Dash.
