Description

A related marble bust of Cosimo III by Foggini, dated 1680-82, is housed in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (1993.332.1). Another version of the present model was exhibited as by Foggini at Peel & Humphris Ltd (undated gallery catalogue).
