the first decorated with two pairs of dragons confronting 'flaming pearls', the spout and handle mounted in gilt-bronze and joined together by a linked chain; the other carved on each side with a shou character within a yellow-slipped ground lobed panel, the cover pierced with floral branches and surmounted by a tree trunk finial
