CHATEAU ANGELUS 1989
Château Angélus 1989
St. Emilion, 1er Grand Cru Classé (A)
Lot 567: Levels bn or into the neck, import strip overlapping front labels, Lot 568: Levels bn or into the neck, slightly scuffed and slightly cellar-soiled labels and capsules, 2 slightly corroded capsules, 2 nicked capsules, excellent color and clarity

Lovely spices on the nose. The real Oriental souk! Glorious black fruit and chocolate on the palate. Mocha too. Great blackberry tastes. Envelops the mouth like liquid cocoa. So velvety. Utterly beguiling. More recently, it seemed very 'Burgundian'! Serena Sutcliffe, MW WA 94
