of square form, the lid and base with a stylised blue zig-zag pattern, the sides striped in blue and gold, small diamond-set pushpiece, the gold-lined inside fitted with a powder compartment, a lipstick holder and a mirror, signed Janesich, serial number 12710, maker's mark, post-1919 eagle's head control mark on base and each part of the lipstick holder, post-1905 control for mixed silver and gold on mirror mount,
