Description

Received as a wedding gift and purchased from renowned Swiss retailer Gübelin in 1978 this Nautilus was clearly loved by its previous owner and remained on their wrist until now. Originally double signed, the dial, at the owner’s request, was replaced at a service early on to the current one displaying the sigma designation at 6 o’clock denoting the use of white gold indexes. Everything else about this reference 3700 however remains original including the bracelet with its ‘Calatrava Cross’ folding clasp.

The reference 3700 was launched in 1976 with production lasting until 1998. The steel variants however ended production around 1986/1987 thus making them rarer and ultimately more desirable.
