Description

Arredoluce sprung in the 1950s from post-war industrial Italy. Set up by Angelo Lelii, it developed and produced lighting pieces with several high-profile designers and artists such as Ettore Sottsass, and brothers Pier Giacomo and Achille Castiglioni. Having survived since post-war Italy, the quality of the company’s craftsmanship is in constant dialogue with the visual weightlessness of the works. Arredoluce has built a reputation based on precisely that: integrating a form of abstract material lightness that blends so well with the creators’ lighting devices that each piece seems to personify a lighting mood and truly enhance the space in which it is installed.

This pair of Cavaletto floor lamps underlines Arredoluce’s playful yet discreet nature and form part of a heritage that underlines the consistent elegance of the company’s work since the 1950s.
