A Hellenistic Marble Mask of Sarapis, Egypt, circa 1st Century B.C.
with parted lips, large eyes, and prominent brow, the back roughly worked and with a rectangular hole, traces of stucco underneath the chin and of red pigment inside the mouth and around the eyes, the hair and beard formerly added in stucco; no restorations.
Height 19 cm.
